The HYROX Cape Town weekend ran across Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the team booked three days of mobile pre‑event preparation and post‑event recovery sessions at their hotel. Because their race schedule shifted throughout the weekend, the focus stayed on keeping bodies moving well, managing load and supporting them between events.
Supporting a team of HYROX Cape Town Athletes
Across the three days, the group included Henco Ingram, Johan Ingram, Kimberly Cawood, Nicola Ingram and Michaela Meintjies. Each athlete arrived with different movement demands, different training loads and different race‑week needs. As a result, every session adjusted to match the individual. This kept the work targeted, efficient and athlete‑specific from start to finish.
A Solid Weekend – Including a Win
The athletes checked in before and after their races with clear feedback about how their bodies responded. They moved steadily through the weekend, recovered well between sessions and kept their momentum. In addition, the team secured a win in the 40+ Relay event, which added a great moment to an already full schedule.
Well done to them. We will be seeing them again in August for the same event.
