Why Do You Eat?
Ever Wondered Why You Eat?
Too much?
I’m 5ft4″. Eighteen months ago I weighed 76kg. I thought I looked stylish. I did not. Then someone got a hold of me, and everything shifted. What I learnt was simple and direct: you eat when you’re hungry. You stop when you’re full. That’s it.
You don’t eat because you’re stressed. You don’t eat because you’re tired, emotional or bored. You eat because your body needs fuel. When you follow that rule, things change fast.
But that’s not the point of this update.
Small Hinges Make Big Doors Swing
The real point is this: small habits shape big outcomes. Small hinges make big doors swing. If you don’t oil the hinges, the doors stop moving. And when they stop moving, you shouldn’t feel surprised. You didn’t oil the hinges.
You Become What You Work At
To become anything — overweight, addicted, unfit or burnt out — you have to work at it. You repeat the same choices until they become your life. So work at the right things. When you do, the results arrive as a natural consequence. Not magic. Not luck. Just consistency.
My Own Shift
Now I weigh about 50kg. Still not stylish. Still laughing at myself. But I feel human again. I feel lighter, clearer and more in control. And if I can do it, you can do it too.
That’s all I wanted to say.
